Junior Sprouts

Sensi Peter has created a beautiful, safe space for children to really build their confidence. My son came out of lock down feeling not very confident in himself. I’ve seen a complete 180 in my son since starting the sprouts program. Peter really promotes inclusivity, giving everything a go and building confidence. It’s not just martial arts, I can’t recommend Martial Spirit hard enough, his Brown Belt assistant is ace too! Always doing everything with a smile.

Junior Thrive

Martial Spirit has been an important part of our family over the past 5 years. Both my young kids (10yo and 8yo) train aikido and judo there and are taught not only self defence but self-discipline, resilience, respect for one self and others, strength and mindfulness. They both genuinely enjoy training there 2-3 times a week and I’ve seen them progress and improve as little human beings. Sensei Peter is very kind and respectful and teaches his students on the important life values that carry outside of the dojo and in to their daily lives. Definitely recommend checking out Martial Spirit for young and old. The dojo and facilities are of high quality and there’s a strong sense of community when you enter. Martial Spirit even ran sessions remotely via zoom during COVID lockdowns to keep my kids engaged.

Junior Sprouts

My son (5 years) does the kids program (junior sprouts), he has been doing this for 6 months and has greatly improved in that time, in skills, attention span and behaviour.

Aikido

A very dedicated and supportive dojo with many traditional elements. Sensei’s ability to teach and instruct all students no matter the level is truly unique. His insight is invaluable as is his dedication to his students. The dojo has such a strong sense of community, the participants are family.

Boxing

The boxing program at Martial Spirit is first rate. Ollie the head boxing coach is fantastic to work with. His classes are a good mix of skills based training and fitness.

Muay Thai

Excellent facilities and knowledgeable instructors. A great environment for learning a wide range of martial arts in an atmosphere that is 100% free of toxic meathead mentality

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Great gym, I’ve been attending for 18 months, I started with boxing, added BJJ and recently started squeezing in a Muay Thai class where possible. All the coaches are great, the classes are very technical (but for all levels), there is the opportunity to compete but there is no need to if you just want to expand your skills set and get fit while having fun. All classes provide mental as well as physical stimulation.

Judo

A fantastic and exciting part of my week, every week. Do yourself a favour and try a class of your choice over here at Martial Spirit, you won’t be disappointed!
